It's a proper history lesson delivered with real weight behind it.

This isn't a place for young children or anyone squeamish about confronting violence and loss. But for anyone interested in Irish history, civil rights, or even just the architecture of Victorian prisons, it's arresting in the best sense. You'll spend a solid two to three hours here if you do it properly, reading the prisoner stories and absorbing the atmosphere rather than rushing through.
