Both are solid bases for exploring beyond the fields themselves. If you've got children who need to burn off energy between bigger days out in Belfast, this is where you bring them. Adults might pop over for a walk round the perimeter on a decent afternoon, but it's not the sort of place you'd plan a day around.

Realistically, allow 30 minutes to an hour if you're visiting with the family. Go in the late afternoon when the light's good and the crowds thin out.
