Grosmont Castle

For a Herefordshire holiday, Grosmont works well as a half-day stop if you're based at Burhope Farm Campsite or Goytree Glamping nearby. It pairs nicely with a walk along Offa's Dyke or a visit to other castles in the area. Don't expect manicured presentation or visitor facilities - this is authentic ruin country. If you prefer castle interiors and museum displays, you might find it a bit sparse.
