Gravity at Lockmeadow in Maidstone is a sprawling indoor facility packed with interconnected trampolines, foam pits, dodgeball courts, and various other bouncy contraptions designed to exhaust children in a controlled environment.

It's genuinely brilliant if you've got restless youngsters aged five upwards. The setup means they can tire themselves out properly rather than just bouncing on a single trampoline for five minutes before getting bored. Parents can usually grab a coffee and watch from the sidelines, though you'll want to budget a solid two to three hours if they're really into it. The foam pits are the main draw - kids seem to find endless entertainment in flinging themselves into them.

You'll need to check their website for current admission prices and session times, as these change seasonally and can sell out during school holidays. Socks are mandatory, which is standard for the industry but worth remembering.

If you're camped at one of the nearby spots - Oak View Holiday Park, Bearsted, or any of the glamping sites within a few miles - Gravity works as a proper rainy-day saviour or an afternoon activity to break up the holiday. Maidstone town centre is close by too, so you could feasibly combine it with other attractions if the trampolines don't fully satisfy the crew.
