You'll need to be a member or book a guest round through a member to play here; it's not a public course, so don't just turn up expecting to tee off. That said, if you're a keen golfer staying at one of the nearby glamping spots like Wolds Walk or Yorkshire Wolds Glamping - all within a few miles - it's absolutely worth arranging a round in advance. The course works brilliantly as part of a broader Yorkshire Wolds break rather than a standalone outing.

Allow a full day if you're playing eighteen holes, plus time to take in the clubhouse. Winter can be muddy, so spring and autumn are your best bets for conditions.
