Frankenbury

Frankenbury is a modest high point on the Dorset heathland, rising to around 394 metres and offering surprisingly decent views across the New Forest and surrounding countryside. The walk up is straightforward, taking about 20 minutes from the nearest car park, and the heathland around it is proper atmospheric, especially early morning when the gorse is still dewy.
