Ffrith Bedwyn

The walk up Ffrith Bedwyn isn't particularly long, but it's relentless. Starting from near Abergele, you're looking at a proper leg-burner to reach the summit of this modest North Wales peak. The real draw here isn't the height - it's the views across Conwy and out toward the coast that make the effort worthwhile.

On a clear day, you get sight lines that stretch far enough to remind you why people bothered building castles in this corner of Wales. The moorland around the summit feels genuinely remote, even though you're not far from civilisation.
