This is really for two types of visitor: those with a genuine interest in Welsh religious architecture and genealogy types tracing family roots through chapel records. It won't keep casual holiday-makers entertained for long - twenty minutes maximum if you're being generous. Pair it with a proper look around Welshpool itself, which has genuine character and some decent pubs if the weather turns.

Worth the stop if you're genuinely interested in chapels and local history. Less so if you're after obvious tourist attractions.
