You'll spot Clifton House from the road - a proper Georgian townhouse that sits right on the edge of Lisburn, about four miles south of Belfast city centre. The red brick and sash windows are original enough to feel authentic without the museum-piece stuffiness.

This isn't a major draw for most visitors to the Belfast area, and honestly? That's rather the point. You'd visit if you're into Georgian domestic architecture or if you're spending a few days exploring Lisburn itself. Kids under twelve would likely find it a bit dry unless you're specifically teaching them period history. Walkers heading towards the Lagan Valley Regional Park might swing past, though it's not on any obvious trail.
