Church Doors

Scrambling down to this limestone cave along Pembrokeshire's coastline feels like discovering something ancient and forgotten. At low tide, the opening resembles gothic church doors, complete with natural stone pillars framing the entrance.

Getting there requires a proper coastal walk from Tenby, following the Wales Coast Path for about two miles. The approach is fairly steep in places, so proper walking boots are essential. Once you're down on the rocky shore, the cave opens up into a cathedral-like chamber that echoes with the sound of waves.

Families staying at nearby sites like Kiln Park or Freshwater East often make this a half-day adventure, though the walk back up will test your legs.
