Christ Church : Bala

The Victorian Gothic tower of Christ Church rises above Bala's High Street like something from a Victorian postcard. Built in the mid-1800s, it's a proper statement of stone and conviction - the sort of place that commands attention whether you're a believer or just passing through.

Inside, the church has the hushed grandeur you'd expect: soaring arches, decent stained glass, and that particular quality of light that only old churches seem to manage.
