Shildon

The birthplace of the railway revolution sits quietly in County Durham, where George Stephenson's son Robert once worked his engineering magic. Shildon earned its place in history as the terminus of the world's first public railway line - the Stockton and Darlington Railway opened here in 1825.

Locomotive No. 1 might be long gone, but the town's railway heritage lives on brilliantly at Locomotion.
