We were made to feel very welcome by Jackie when we arrived at the site. The facilities were spotless and the views amazing. Great location for Hamsterley Forest mountin bike trails. Didnt use the onsite cafe and bar but they both looked very pleasant and certainly will on our next visit. Jackie, her family and team are totally dedicated to their campsite, cafe, menagerie of animals. We have stayed on so many sites, both in the UK and abroad, and this one is up with the best. Spacious pitches, excellent clean facilities, regularly cleaned. Cafe food good and varied, and ideally situated for Kynren. Just be quiet when you return to site after that incredible show.

Clean, friendly and well positioned for those that visit Kynren. We had a fabulous stay there, very peaceful and relaxing, the grounds were spotless. All the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The cafe bar was excellent well priced and great food! The added bonus was to visit all the rescue animals.

Lovely site with spotless facilities. The cafe/bar is great and the food was excellent. Enjoyed the local lager and cocktails. Easy to get to, and lovely views. Can't rate the railway wagons as we stayed in our tourer, but I would imagine they are very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stay.

A Fantastic weekend away in a gem of a site, great cafe and Bar, my little one really enjoyed the animals and got the chance to feed the lambs. All of the staff made you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The facilities on the campsite where excellent, the shower block was impeccabley clean.
