I stayed here for an early Xmas present. It was lovely! The host Martyn greeted us at reception, explained everything very clearly, and drove up to the hut to show us how to work the hot tub, and point out walks etc. Nothing was too much trouble for him; they even had dvds and games you could borrow up to your hut. An HONEST review…. We booked based on initial liking to the online persona. In person it was similar but a few things let’s this place down and weren’t what it seemed to be. Pricing for the lodge we stayed in was abit steep! The beds are like hospital mattresses and we had to make our own beds they aren’t ready made, the bathroom vents and walls had a lot of dust and cobwebs. Heating took hours ...

Absolutely gorgeous views, great friendly and attentive host martyn , amazing facilities, good size warm cozy cabin with comfy beds and fresh crisp clean bedding, nice little park for our toddlers, big gated space for our husky to have a run, lovely area with plenty of walks/trails. What a find - love this place. Booked a cabin with a hot tub and we weren't disappointed. We had a lovely view and despite arriving n the middle of a storm in January, the cabin was warm and cost.
