Used to love come camping here years ago. Only a small site and had nothing on apart from toilets and showers. It's what you make of it that makes the experience more enjoyable though.
Spent four nights there in a tent recently. Friendly and very helpful site owner. Family friendly site. Good shower and loos facilities - always clean, good and hot shower. Good value.
Had such a good time here, so welcoming, lovely local walks, showers which actually stay on during your shower (a rare find in UK campsites). Site is small and compact, but has everything you need. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
Lovely host, great location, river and ford right next to the site, clean toilet block, hot shower, pub just along road open Thursday-Sunday, carvery on a Sunday Perfect for High Force, Cow Green reservoir, Slitt Woods We'll be back
Nice little campsite by the roadside, with basic , but clean facilities and a pub in walking distance. Northumberland 250 motorcycle route is just around the corner.
