Sumners Ponds Fishery & Campsite

Lovely place to stay, whether fishing or not. Really nice staff, Debbie at reception was so helpful. Accommodation was fantastic, and the cake they left for us was mega.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in our motorhome Gravel pitch was huge and grass surrounding 3 sides Water and electric on the pitch Showers and toilets were better than most hotels! The place is amazing Just stunning with the ponds/ woodland walks/dog meadow and dog woods to rent by the half hour or hour for a very good price so the dogs also loved it Beautiful cafe on the lake too ...

We are staying in Iris lodge and it is absolutely amazing, clean, well equipped, warm. We are fishing to and although we haven't caught yet it really doesn't matter as the surroundings are beautiful. Had a lovely breakfast in the Cafe too.

Lovely spot for fishing, walking, visiting cafe etc. Good location in small village but with sufficient facilities to stay for a week without needing to visit a big supermarket etc. pitches are decent size and the lakeside pitches offer ideal situation for fishing and camping, in relative privacy.
