I'm sad writing this as it was all going so well ...sold a fully lagged caravan. It's not. The bends aren't covered and we've been frozen out of our van. Great semi rural location it was quiet, clean secure park. We stayed in the country cabana which was ideal for the two of us it was very clean and modern. We used the loft on the first night but a strange noise on the roof kept us up but we moved downstairs to the pull down bed and it was great both beds were clean and comfy. Well kept site, so many things are brilliant. Just so frustrating to not allow dogs in the bar which is absolutely fair enough if they provided any type of cover from the rain on the decking. If you have a dog and you simply want to have a pint and shelter from the rain while you await a take away pizza you need to be prepared to get soaked.

Bumpy access road. Watch out for unmarked speed bumps. Lovely bar/restaurant and good showers. Area for touring caravans can be smelly as it's right next to the septic tank but lovely area and neat, well-run site. Dog friendly.

If you're looking for a tranquil few days away this is the place. Met up with our pals from Scotland and had a great time. Friendly helpful reception staff, and Peter, the warden couldn't have been more helpful. Spotless everywhere. Excellent facilities for touring and camping. Nice little restaurant and bar. Really nice food. Ate there both nights, and it was spot on. Breakfast is also available...
