We have just returned from a short stay at Pen Y Bont caravan site in Valley, Anglesey. My sister and brother in law have been raving about this site for several years and now I can see why. Lovely 😍 campsite good facilities and a pristine shower 🚿 block, part of the site has seasonal caravans on it but there is plenty of room and you do not feel pend in. Good views and you just walk straight out at the back onto the estuary for walking trails. The owner is absolutely lovely and will help you out with anything 😊.
We hadn’t pre booked but were welcomed and located without fuss. This small, unassuming, yet perfectly maintained site offers access to the inland sea with a small landing area perfect for paddle boarders etc. in addition there are lots of waders and sea birds with curlew and oyster catchers both being quite vociferous during our short stay. Absolutely wonderful site, peaceful and spotless! Olwen is a fabulous host, makes sure you’re looked after, and we certainly are. We’ll be rebooking for sure. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. This is a fabulous site. We stayed one night ahead of a crossing to Ireland. Its in a beautiful location, seeming close to paddle boarding opportunities. It was quiet and clean with easy access to all facilities. The bathrooms and toilets seem brand new and were spotless. Showers good and warm. Washing up area is outside and covered.
