Midshires Way Campsite and Alpaca Farm

Stayed on a fully serviced hard standing pitch this weekend. Lovely small shower/toilet facility, tiny campsite with good pitches and friendly greeting when we arrived.

We really enjoyed the mini break because the pod was amazing ….spacious , clean, comfortable bed , great shower and spacious bathroom , beautiful views . It felt very special and didn’t want the days to end . Definitely will be back . Also good WIFi too . Not forgetting watching the lovely horses just outside our pod . I could carry on but I will end by saying Thankyou for a lovely relaxing stay.

We've stayed 3 nights in this lovely location, and I don't know where to start. It's gorgeous, the views, surrounded by the fields with horses and alpacas. The lodge It's well equipped with everything what you need for your stay, clean and cosy as well. You can have a fire or bbq too. Lovely walks around and the town is within few minutes walking. Lovely place to stay. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable and everything I needed was provided. The WiFi was intermittent which did not bother me as I was more than happy to be in contactable!! Do be aware it is in the flight path for East Midlands!!

We returned here after last visiting three years ago and stayed in the same fabulous lodge. The lodge has been very well maintained and it has everything you need for the most comfortable stay. The design is fantastic as it utilises the space to it's best. The lodge is well equipped and the location is gorgeous. We ordered the breakfast hamper again and loved the ingredients.
