Long Meadow Campsite, New Forest

I chose to come to Long Meadow mainly because it was about the only campsite still open that late in the year (the week before Halloween 2025) and I was not disappointed. The only hiccup was on arrival where I arrived 10 minutes after the office closed for a 3 hour long cleaning interval so I did not know where to pitch my tent. Beautiful well kept campsite with everything you need. Hot showers in a heated shower/toilet blocks, Large area to wash up all your pots and pans with very hot water, Lots of water refilling points, Shop with essentials just incase you forgot anything and a laundry room which you do have to pay a little extra for. We had a lovely stay tenting at Long Meadow campsite. It was clean and tidy, especially the toilet facilities that surpassed anything I've ever experienced before. The water was really hot fur washing dishes. The campsite was level and flat, peaceful and picturesque with fallow deer walking around our tent through the night. The staff were helpful and friendly. We'll definitively be coming back.

A lovely camp site, 2 minutes from the forest with cycle tracks and paths. Brockenhurst is 15 minutes away. Large sized pitches, lots of room for kids to play. Toilet and shower facilities well maintained and clean, however showers (4) often very busy and a 10-20 minute queue. Nonetheless they are warm enough and do the job. Long Meadow Campsite is beautiful, friendly and perfect for a camping trip in the new forest. The pitches are lovely and spacious and it has a really friendly atmosphere. However, I do think the toilets and showers, in particular, do need an update. The shower cubicles were a little grimy and hot then cold.
