Henfold Lakes

We love coming here to fish. Beautiful lake & peaceful location. Guys that work here are helpful & knowledgeable, especially Alison who always kits us out with everything we need & dishing out her best fishing advice.

Good prices for day passes trouble is the customer service is so bad you feel like they don’t even want you there. We went at 5pm and were willing to pay £6 day passes and leave at 7pm (dusk). They turned us down because they couldn’t be arsed. Businesses that turn down business because they can’t be arsed don’t deserve to survive. I’ve decided to never come here again.

Basic camping site with 5 attached fishing lakes and caravan storage. Tackle shop on site. I believe the restaurant on site has closed down but I'm not 100% on that as I think it's run by a 3rd party company. Pitch rates very good price and fishing is cheap for day tickets. Dog friendly. My parents have a caravan stored here and stay down here a big chunk of the year.

We stayed for one night and pitched a tent to spend the weekend fishing. I was a bit concerned due to some dodgy reviews on sites about this place but don't be put off! The staff were friendly and attentive - couldn't fault the service at all. Loads of space to camp, majority of people were in caravans with own facilities. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this campsite more. The workers were nothing but respectful and friendly. They were very welcoming to my friends and I, and they really made us feel comfortable and safe. In addition to that, the grounds are beautifully maintained. Definitely will return.
