This is a lovely quiet campsite, without frills, in the village of Akeley. There are two camping fields surrounded by trees and hedgerows with 3 drinking water points for filling up of water tanks. For £15 I was more than happy. Lovely welcome, pretty flat field, basic but very clean toilets, noisy road during the day but very quiet through the night.
It is a very nice campsite! The owner is very hospitable and shows you around. There is everything you need for water and sewage except electricity! A special highlight are the animals on the farm. There are horses, ponies, alpacas and sheep. Highly recommended for children - our children were very happy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such a lovely place! Surrounded by the nature, alpacas, horses, owls and buzzards. Campsite has toilet which is sparkling clean. Very friendly owners. Bought fresh eggs on the site which was a real treat. Payed £10 for 2 people sleeping in the car. We will be back soon. Thank you so much for looking after us, we had such a lovely stay!
