I was walking from Borth to Newtown on my own for a few days in the summer, and didn't feel safe to wild camp after my initial plan was to wild camp. I called Dol-Llys Farm and got a place to stay that evening. They charged my phone and gave me all information needed for my stay. I felt safe as a solo traveller, and felt very welcome by the family there. Thank you!

Expensive for what it is, we paid less for sites before our stay at Dol Llys and after that were more welcoming and had much better facilities. Quite Frankly one of the best campsites we’ve ever visited! It’s a working Farm and the natural layout contributes to a relaxed, less formal, atmosphere. While it’s got all the well maintained facilities needed it’s the natural setting that sets it apart - with the river playing the staring roll. Recommend ✅

Lovely river running through the campsite — perfect for a swim. Showers cost £1 for 6 minutes. Facilities are quite basic, with old-fashioned toilets and showers that could be cleaner. Lots of space for tents, motorhomes, and campervans, but no designated pitches. Unless you are hard standing electric. Plenty of grass space for games etc. Close by to shops.

The campsite is on a working farm and is very natural and well maintained, I camped right next to the river Severn. There are firepits scattered all around and you can buy a net of logs from the farm for £6.00. The facilities are spot on, clean and well maintained shower blocks and toilet...
