A very well-kept campsite. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The whole place has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. A great spot to slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and spend quality time — we truly enjoyed our stay here.

A great Club Site with easy access to a lot of wonderful walks. A pleasant stroll into ‘Barny’ with good pubs and shops. Fine, clean shower/toilet block. Great night skies with no obstructions or light pollution. As always staff on site are friendly and helpful.

This was our first camping holiday in 18 years and what a wonderful camp site to start our outdoor adventures again. Barnard Castle is truly a gem and Anne, Jackie, Paul and all the team were so helpful and kept the site and anenity block spotless. Cant wait to go back in March

Absolutely loved our stay - we were made to feel very welcome and had an excellent pitch. The facilities were great - kept nice and clean and ample for the site e.g. never too busy. Nice easy walk to Barnard Castle itself, which made the calm gin and tonic later even better!
