There's something quite grounding about standing in front of a working barn that's been doing the same job for centuries. Yarnthawe Barn, just a short drive from Skipton, is one of those places that doesn't announce itself loudly but rewards a visit if you know what to expect.

It's a traditional Yorkshire Dales stone barn, the sort that still functions as part of an active farm.
