Y Capel Newydd

It's worth a quick stop if you're walking the Talsarnau area or based at one of the nearby camping parks - Glan-Y-Môr is just five miles away, and Black Rock Sands about the same distance. The chapel won't keep you for long, maybe twenty minutes tops, but it gives genuine insight into rural Welsh religious life without any of the tourist infrastructure. Access looks straightforward, though parking information isn't readily available - you'll need to check locally when you arrive.

Historically minded visitors will appreciate the modest architecture and the fact it's still standing, still relatively unchanged. Families with young children might find it quiet rather than engaging, unless they're keen on old buildings generally.
