The landing of William, Prince of Orange, in 1688 is one of those pivotal moments in English history that hardly anyone thinks about until they're actually standing at the spot. Brixham's harbourfront marks where he came ashore during the Glorious Revolution, an event that fundamentally reshaped British politics and power.
