Whitty Hill

The walk up Whitty Hill rewards you with proper views across Dorset's countryside, and on a clear day you can see right out to the coast. It's not a savage climb - more of a steady trudge from Bridport - but the grassland on top is genuinely lovely, especially when wildflowers are doing their thing in spring and summer.

You're looking at a round trip of maybe two hours if you take it at a leisurely pace.
