The club operates seasonally, so timing matters. Summer weekends are your best bet for seeing activity, though even then you might catch only a handful of runs before the boats head back in. It's more of a 20-minute diversion than a full afternoon activity, unless you're genuinely interested in the mechanics of the sport itself.

This works well as a break during a camping holiday in the area. Wardley Hill Campsite is just 3.4 miles away and makes a solid base, while the glamping options at Dawn Chorus - proper safari tents and shepherd huts on a working farm - offer something with more character if you want proper comfort. Green Haven Camping is another five miles out if you prefer traditional pitches.

Honestly, it's niche. Walkers won't find much here, and young kids will lose interest quickly unless they're genuinely captivated by speedboats.
