Tumbling Hill

The nearest campsite is North Lees, just 3.3 miles away, which makes this a logical half-morning jaunt if you're based in one of the caravan parks dotted around the area - Derbyshire Hills Campsite or Chatsworth Park are both within reasonable driving distance.

Best visited on a day when the light's decent and the cloud's lifted. Midweek tends to be quieter than weekends, though it's never packed. Admission appears to be free, and there are no obvious opening hours to worry about - it's just a hill you walk up.
