Top of the Hill

If you're after dramatic vistas or somewhere to break up the routine of a caravan park stay, this does the job. Swansea Marina Tourer Park sits just a mile away, making it an easy slot into a holiday itinerary. The Riverside parks are a bit further out, but still within reasonable reach if you're based there.

Free to visit, no facilities at the top itself, so bring water. Best tackled in the morning or late afternoon when the light's decent and crowds thin out. Not life-changing, but a solid two-hour excursion if you combine it with a walk around the base.
