Singleton Park Boating Lake

The lake sits right in the middle of Singleton Park, a sprawling green space that's been doing its job quietly for over a century. You get a proper circular walk around water that's actually quite attractive - swans, ducks, the occasional heron if you're lucky and keep your eyes open. It's the kind of place locals use without thinking much about it, which is exactly why it works.

The walk takes about forty minutes at a normal pace, maybe an hour if you dawdle or stop to watch the birds.
