Tiny Lane

A narrow cobbled passage squeezed between buildings in central Buckingham, Tiny Lane is exactly what its name suggests - barely wide enough for two people to pass comfortably. It's one of those places that makes you stop mid-walk and think, "How have I never noticed this before?"

The lane connects two main streets through what feels like a gap in time. Brick walls on either side, worn smooth by centuries of shoulders brushing past. If you're based at nearby Embers Camping in Claydon, it's worth the short drive in for an afternoon poke around the town's older bits. Tiny Lane won't fill an afternoon, but it's the sort of small, genuine detail that makes a place feel lived-in and real rather than packaged for tourists.
