The Gallery at the Guild is a working creative space - part exhibition room, part artist studio - so what you see depends entirely on who's in residence and what they're working on. It's intimate rather than grand, the kind of place where you might actually chat to whoever's making the work, which beats standing in front of paintings behind velvet ropes.

Art types will get the most from it. If you're after the polished, climate-controlled gallery experience with a shop and cappuccino bar, look elsewhere. This is about direct access to artists and their process. The space itself has that Cotswold stone charm without trying too hard. Since you're staying at Campden Yurts or one of the other sites nearby - Broadway Caravan and Motorhome Club is only 3.9 miles down the road - it makes a decent half-morning before heading to the shops and cafes in Chipping Campden itself.
