St Michael & All Angels has that quiet authority many parish churches possess, the kind of place where you can actually hear yourself think. Inside, there's decent medieval stonework and the sort of details that reward a slow wander - carved roof bosses, old monuments, stained glass that's caught the light for centuries.

This is one for the architecture crowd and history types rather than a family day-out activity. Kids will get restless unless they're genuinely interested in medieval churches, but if you're into fabric and craftsmanship, you'll spend a good half-hour poking about. The walk up from town is pleasant enough, and the setting among churchyard yews adds to the atmosphere.

If you're based at Wheathill Touring Park or Springfield Riverside just outside town, it's a natural addition to a wander round Bridgnorth itself - grab the climb while you're in the area, see the views across the Severn Valley. The town has enough decent pubs and cafes that you won't feel you've made the trip for just a church visit. Worth including if you're already exploring the town, but it's not a draw on its own. Allow forty minutes including the walk up and a proper look around.
