St. Illogan Church

The church sits quietly on the edge of Redruth, a solid stone building that's been doing its job for centuries without any fuss. St. Illogan Church is one of those places you stumble across rather than plan for, and that's rather the point - it's a proper working parish church, not a museum piece behind velvet ropes.

Inside, the medieval architecture speaks for itself. You'll find the usual Cornish church fixtures - carved bench-ends, a decent font, and the kind of hushed atmosphere that makes you understand why people bothered building these things so well in the first place.
