SoftPaws Adventure Park sits just outside Swansea and caters mainly to families with younger children looking for a low-key afternoon out. It's the sort of place where kids can burn off energy without you needing to book tickets weeks in advance or queue for hours. The park offers soft play facilities and adventure activities pitched at the under-12s crowd - nothing that'll thrill teenagers, but genuinely useful if you've got little ones who need to move about.

The setup is fairly standard for this type of attraction: indoor soft play areas, climbing frames, slides, and the like. It's clean enough and does what it says on the tin. Not the kind of place adults will find particularly riveting on their own, mind you. An hour to ninety minutes is about the sweet spot before everyone's ready to move on.

If you're staying at Riverside Holiday Park or SWDA Riverside (both just over three miles away), this works well as a rainy-day backup or mid-holiday break from the usual park routines. Swansea Marina Tourer Park is similarly close. The town itself has proper attractions if you fancy a longer outing - the marina, the beaches, decent restaurants - so you're not stuck relying on SoftPaws alone.

Worth a visit if you've got young kids and need to give them an indoor option. Don't make a special trip for it, though. Ring ahead to check opening times and admission costs before you go.
