Simdde-dylluan Copper Mine

Remnants of Wales' industrial copper mining past scatter across the hillsides near Caernarfon, and Simdde-dylluan represents one of the more atmospheric examples. Walking through the site, you'll find stone foundations, spoil heaps and the ghostly outlines of buildings that once housed the machinery and workers of this 19th-century operation.
