The walk up Pew Tor rewards you with proper Dartmoor views - granite rocks jutting out of moorland that makes you feel miles from anywhere, even though Tavistock is barely a stone's throw away. It's not a massive peak, but the scramble up is satisfying enough to feel like you've earned the summit.
