The marina itself is functional rather than flashy. There's a decent stretch of waterfront to wander, good views across the bay, and enough activity to keep you occupied for an hour or so. On a clear day the light across the water is lovely.

Peterhead Marina Bay Holiday Park sits practically on the doorstep, so if you're staying there, the marina is your obvious wandering ground. Combine it with a walk along the beach or a trip into Peterhead town centre itself for a proper half-day. Worth the detour if you're passing through Aberdeenshire, but don't expect manicured attractions - this is where people actually work.
