From Swansea it's a short drive inland, making North Dock a sensible pit stop rather than a destination in itself. Pair it with Pembrey Country Park, which sits just 5.4 miles away and offers proper recreational facilities, or use it as a quieter alternative to the busier stretches around the coast. The caravan parks nearby - Gateway Resort, Shoreline, and South Wales Touring - all give you decent access to this corner of Carmarthenshire without the crowds you'd hit further west.
