Myself and my family have visited the Gate quite a few times now and absolutely love it here. The entertainment the food the staff. The fair is a wonderful addition and reasonably priced too. I have been reading reviews about the toilets, I have witnessed on many occasions Dot cleaning them until they are immaculate. Then the people using them trash them. Poor Dot has to unblock toilets mop floors...

Went for a carvery today and food was amazing, could not fault it but. Staff there can be some what rude to other employees. The location next to the estuary is excellent with great views from some pitches, the road access to the site is pretty good. The touring pitches are mixed with some level but many sloping necessitating ramps or levelling. Touring sites are provided with metered electric, which is pre-paid. A lovely weekend with some friends with easy access to the local area. The onside facilities are excellent and offer friendly service and value for money. The only complaint....we didn't win at bingo.
