The moment you arrive at Nafferton Recreation Ground, you realise this isn't a manicured country park - it's proper wildlife territory on the edge of Driffield. The reserve sprawls across wet grassland and ponds that genuinely attract birds and insects, not just the occasional dog walker. You'll find paths threading through reeds and open meadow, best visited with binoculars and a decent field guide if you're serious about spotting anything.
