The maze sprawls across open marshland like a giant puzzle waiting to be solved, and honestly, it's the sort of thing that keeps kids occupied for a solid hour without complaint. You're navigating raised pathways through tall crop walls - corn or similar depending on the season - trying to work out which turn won't lead you straight back where you came from. It's frustratingly good at that.

The Fun Yard side of things offers the usual array of games and attractions you'd expect at a family venue - nothing revolutionary, but enough to justify an afternoon if you're camping nearby. The flat terrain suits younger children particularly well, and there's something about getting properly lost in your own country that feels less stressful than a theme park queue.

Located bang on Romney Marsh itself, it's ideally placed if you're staying at Fallow Fields or New Beach Holiday Park - both less than a mile away. If you've got Port Lympne Safari Park on your radar (2.8 miles north), you could easily combine both in a day without breaking a sweat.

The open-air setting means weather matters. Summer holidays are busiest, spring and early autumn probably offer the better experience - fewer crowds, decent light, not scorching. Getting there from Romney town is straightforward enough, and parking shouldn't be an issue given the space available.

Worth a visit if you've got younger kids and a rainy afternoon to fill. Adults without children might find it a bit thin on substance, but as a single day activity alongside other attractions in the area, it does the job.
