Lytham Heritage Centre

The Heritage Centre sits in the heart of Lytham, just outside Preston, and tells the story of this Lancashire coastal town through a collection of local artifacts, photographs, and documents. It's housed in a listed building with a real sense of place - the sort of spot where you'll find retired volunteers who actually remember half the things on display.

Inside, you'll find exhibits covering everything from Lytham's days as a medieval settlement through to its Victorian heyday as a seaside resort. It works well as a quiet afternoon activity during a caravan holiday, especially if the weather turns. Several parks lie within easy reach - Sea View Caravan Park is less than two miles away, while Ribby Hall Village and Haven Marton Mere are both under five miles, making this a practical stop between beach days.
