Logieside Henge

It takes twenty minutes from Beauly to get here, and you'll spend perhaps thirty minutes actually at the site if you're thorough. Families with young kids might find it underwhelming - there's not much action, and the stones don't photograph as dramatically as more famous henges.

Pair it with a walk along the Beauty Firth or a visit to nearby Beauly itself, where there's actually a medieval priory worth seeing. Go between May and September when the ground isn't boggy and the light stays decent until evening.
