Beauly itself is a proper small town with decent amenities, and you've got Beauly Holiday Park just under a mile away if you're basing yourself locally. The site sits well as a half-day detour between other Highland attractions, though you'll want to research opening details beforehand - facilities aren't always obvious. Allow a couple of hours if you're taking it seriously, less if you're just passing through.
