Pushchairs will struggle on the rougher sections, and frankly, the under-fives might find it a bit dull - it's trees and more trees, not a splash park. But walkers and anyone after an hour or two of genuine peace will find it worth the drive from Woodbridge.

There's no clear information on whether it's formally managed or entirely free access, which is typical for Suffolk's less famous woodland spots. Best assumption is you can turn up and walk, but ring ahead if you're making a specific journey. Allow two to three hours if you're doing the full circuit properly.
