Bird watchers could easily spend longer here, especially in spring migration. History types won't find much in the way of ruins or monuments, so it's not a draw for that crowd.

It slots nicely into a Perthshire trip where you're also hitting Loch Earn Leisure Park or exploring the wider area around Crieff. The real appeal is that it feels like actual countryside - not pumped up for tourism, just quiet and green. Worth the detour if you're already in the region and need a break from the busier attractions.
