About Law Hill
From the top you're looking down Dollar Glen and across Fife towards the Forth - on a clear day it's genuinely impressive. The climb takes about 45 minutes from the car park near Dollar town centre, and it's the sort of walk that appeals to hikers who don't want to spend all day mucking about, plus families with older kids who fancy something more interesting than a flat woodland stroll.
You'll see folk up there at weekends, but it never feels rammed. Go early in the day for the best light and fewer people. The paths are decent enough but can get muddy after rain, and there's nothing tricky about it - no scrambling or exposed bits, just gradient.
If you're staying at Fossoway Cabins nearby, this makes a natural morning outing. Ditto Meadow View Glamping if you want something less strenuous than the bigger Fife hill walks. It's free, obviously. Allow an hour and a half if you want to sit about and take photos at the top. Winter afternoons turn to dark fast up here, so plan accordingly.
